DO YOU PROVIDE HOUSING FOR THE MEDICAID WAIVER?
Yes we do! The Wyndmoor of Portage is Medicaid certified. We accept both  Medicaid waiver and private pay applicants, so please feel free to contact us to see learn more. We are more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
DO YOU ALLOW SPOUSES, PARTNERS OR SIBLINGS TO LIVE TOGETHER IN THE SAME ROOM?
Yes! We do allow residents to share a room with their loved ones. Every room can accommodate a second bed if the residents would like one as well.
DOES YOUR FACILITY ALLOW RESIDENTS TO SMOKE?
Yes! While we do allow smoking, it must be done outside and at least 8ft or more from the building. Residents must also turn in their cigarettes to the nursing staff and abide by our facilities smoking schedule.
IS WYNDMOOR OF PORTAGE PET FRIENDLY?
Yes we are! Our only requirement is that the resident is capable of attending to their pets needs. This includes feeding and picking up after their companions.
DO YOU ALL PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS?
We will do our very best to accommodate you and you loved ones transportation needs. We do provide transportation depending on our schedule and the needs of our other residents.
IS THERE A WAITLIST TO GET IN?
As of right now we do have a waitlist, however we are currently undergoing an expansion to add an additional fifty additional apartments. The expansion is scheduled to be finished in late 2021, so the wait shouldn't be too much longer!
